Sustainability
Sustainability is at the core of WYLDE Café and the wider HYDE family. From sourcing local produce and reducing food miles to implementing eco-friendly packaging and energy-efficient operations, we actively minimise our environmental impact.
Our coffee deliveries arrive in reusable tins from Eighty9, reducing waste while maintaining freshness. Waste management, water-saving measures, and renewable energy practices are embedded in daily operations, and we encourage guests to participate through mindful consumption.
By integrating conservation, carbon footprint monitoring, and community initiatives, WYLDE ensures that sustainable practices are both practical and impactful. Our commitment demonstrates that high-quality food and environmental responsibility can coexist seamlessly.


Our Community
At WYLDE Café, giving back is central to who we are, reflecting the Connacht Hospitality Group’s commitment to meaningful community engagement. In 2024, HYDE Hotel proudly partnered with the Galway Simon Community, supporting their mission to provide safe homes and vital support to those experiencing or at risk of homelessness.
In 2025, we are championing the National Breast Cancer Research Institute (NBCRI), raising awareness and funds through initiatives such as the Pink Drink campaign, Disco Brunch in Pink, the Pre-Racing Fashion Show, the Dragons’ Den initiative, and the Tree of Remembrance for breast cancer.
By leveraging our team, events, and reach, WYLDE actively contributes to causes that inspire change, hope, and a stronger Galway community.
